My favorite caves, although there's thousands to chose from would be.

Out of my own list of favorite caves that's all I can think of now..

If it were possible to include hypothetical caves I'd definitely include the Great Whernside master caves, as we spend enough time thinking, talking and visualizing them.....

Perhaps I missed it but nobody has mentioned Shatter or Withyhill Caves or Stoke Lane Slocker surely three of the best decorated caves on Mendip. Perhaps there is a bias towards more sporting trips.

My favourite caves:

Drws Cefn
Nunnery Entrance
Twll Du

Situated on open access land, no keys or permits required.
Open to all, just like the mountainside are on.
Simply turn up and go caving, the way it ought to be.

Of course, there is a controlling committee/ company/ group who would have it very much otherwise (there would be, wouldn't there?).

Will they succeed?

We shall see.

It's early days yet, but something I am working on with one of the UK's conservation bodies.  I doubt it will make its way to America though but you never know.
