For anyone who remembers Paul Reinsch from Wharfedale

This video popped up when I was searching You Tube for various things on a wet day. Paul Reinsch driving a Series Land Rover and going in a mine. (Not seen this one before.)

Yes. He and Shirley gave a lot to the local kids and is sadly missed.

He used to bring them on trips over to Ingleborough Cave.
Paul was a grand bloke.

Paul was one of the first people I got to know when I joined UWFRA twenty odd years ago

Paul was a highly respected member of UWFRA and I had some very big shoes to fill when I took over from him as Underground Leader in 1958. He was always willing to help me, and others, in any was possible. His work with local children was brilliant and some of them went on to join the team as full members.. Many people will have mourned his passing at such a young age.
