My guess is that our visitors will, in the main, be from areas with bigger, better, mountain scenery than the dales have to offer

I'm fortunate to have traveled widely visiting caves in many countries and agree the scenery is often absolutely stunning, however today I went exploring the bridle paths around Austwick/Wharfe/Feizor and the views were wonderful - fields of yellow buttercups, even fields of bluebells up by Oxenber Woods, hedgerows of frothy cow parsley, lambs skipping about and walls, lots of limestone walls - if you are new to the area and are coming to Eurospeleo 2016 - you are in for a  treat and I highly recommend you find time to explore the bridle paths too.

'The air of heaven is that which blows between a horse's ears.' Lady Towneley ...

When ever I see a photo like this it always reminds me of this phrase that is inscribed on the Mary Townley Loop mounting block.

Couldn't agree more. And if combined with a walk up onto Moughton and a trip to Feizor Tea Rooms, it's even better!

I just hope they don't get stuck behind a caravan on the A65 for miles on end (Giggleswick to Kirkby!) like I was last weekend. Mind you, I did have plenty of time to read the maker's name on the back of the caravan:  "PEGASUS"! LOL  :)
