Are you suggesting that American Budweiser is a 'good beer'?

Oh, Droid, I'm surprised at you ? 'All good beers begin with a 'B'" does not mean that all beers whose name begins with 'B' are good!!

If all goes to plan there will be a Beer that is brewed within 15 miles of Hidden Earth.
A popular beer that has been extensively tested and approved.
If the local brew proves popular, then I'm sure to include a local brew or two at HE 2013 (assuming I haven't been ousted).

Maj.

If the rotation goes as normal, I'm pretty sure there will be a local brew on in 2013 too

:coffee:

Err, where exactly is the venue this year? - all the info just seems to refer to 'Burnley Campus' - it would be nice to have a road name or a post code, please!

Nick.

Come off the A38 at Avonmouth and then take the A403, B4461 and A38 to Gloucester; then the A4302, A430 and A38 to Worcester; on to the A44, A38 and A449 to Wolverhampton; thence the A4150, A449, A518, A34, A536, B5181, A537, A538, B5091, A523, A6, A627, A626, A6017, A560, 6017, A635, A627, A6140, A627, A671, B6477, A671, A664, A58, A6033, A646, A671 and the A682 and you're there. It's notoriously difficult to follow, though.

Best just stick to the A74/M8 then

On the top RH of the Hidden Earth page there is a group of links under the heading "2012 event"; clicking on "location" takes you to this page
http://hidden-earth.org.uk/info/location.html
which gives address, post code, and brief travel instructions, and a link to a Google map with the location marked

Obviously you didn't find this -

Despite quite a gruelling return (and upward - back roads!) journey, it was a brilliant Hidden Earth and many thanks to the crew who made it all happen!

A large turn out (not sure how many but it seemed very very busy) and a varied and very good selection of lectures, all delivered in a brilliant venue. The security fencing and CCTV meant Burnley was protected well ;-)
