To the echo above, great weekend. Been to a few in the past but never stayed over at one before (time being the most limiting factor) but did this time so I could sample 'a beer or two', even got a last minute ticket for the dinner - better than the takeaway I was planning on having!

Great AV (to echo a comment on FB, the action part was top!) as were all the other AVs.

Big thanks to everyone that orgasnised it and to all those submitted work, did the lectures, etc etc  (y)  (y)

Cheers for uploading that link to the closing AV Chris; enjoyed watching it.

Would it be possible for someone to put a link on here to the opening AV as well? Thanks.

To wendy , Les and the team a job well don , you are never going to satisfy all requirements and each building has its unique opportunities. I think all were satisfied with Burnley and look forward to going back

Great weekend, Don't think I'd ever want to go to Burnley again if i can help it! The high security fence was clearly there for a reason.

Not as many faces from the 'usual' party crowd but a fab weekend non the less. Good beer, good lectures, good company.

What did people think of the band disco stomp?

Yes, it was to protect the locals from us :tease:

The site is called Burnley Campus - as well as the 6th form college, it also houses a primary school, a nursery school and a special school. Nowadays it's standard practice to have security fences around primary school, even in the "nicest" areas.

It was a good venue - the rooms provided for "behind-the-scenes" staff were better then we've had anywhere, the campus staff were helpful and friendly, and it was great to have the lecture theatres close together and under one roof. I look forward to being back there.

Early on I guess Droid, Not enough ale supped yet!!  Anyway I'm jealous of you all as my van/sleeping accomodation broke down on me so I couldn't get there.  Gutted as was looking forward to picking up this years Ghar Parau postcards!  Where can I find some chaps if any left??
