Hull Pot

Had a fun short trip down Hunt pot today, but went up to have a look at Hull pot just before as we're planning on having a look down it and high Hull pot tomorrow. While looking at the stream feeding Hull pot, I noticed some plastic attempting to block some of the sinks in the stream way. Given the stream is still sinking, I'm not sure how much these bits of plastic are actually doing. So before I remove them, is there a purpose to them being there? Or have they been placed as part of a project?

I think the sheets of plastic were a vain attempt to reduce the amount of water going in to the lower section of the cave, but given that with no water going past them the bottom of the cave was still sumped, they've been removed, as has a load of rubbish from Hull Pot. I'll attempt to see if I can trace the drone owner, but I suspect that it'll never fly again...

You didn't spot any Chinese balloons while you were down there did you?

Didn't see any Chinese balloons, but there are a number of bits of climbing tat half way up some of the routes that could do with removing if anyone gets the chance. They were just a bit to far away from our line to get to, especially as I neglected to pack rope protectors!
