With grateful thanks to Andy Chapman, we have added five interviews with Jason Mallinson to the Audio Archive.
Jason has been at the forefront of caving diving since the mid 1990s, with his notable UK explorations including Alum Pot and Witches Cave. His major foreign explorations include a western hemisphere depth record in the Sistema Huautla, and the longest-ever cave-diving penetration record in Pozo Azul in the Picos of northern Spain. Jason has also been involved in a number of international cave diving rescues, including helping to bring out six cavers from Cueva Alpazat in Mexico These recordings make riveting listening:
Getting Started
Explorations in Alum Pot
Witches Cave to Pippikin Pot
Diving in the Sistema Huautla
Explorations in Pozo Azul
We are indebted to Martyn Farr and Chris Jewell for generously allowing us to use their photographs for illustrating the interviews.
