Morning all, are there any cavers living in Lanzarote? I’m a regular visitor to the island and would love to visit the lava tubes.

Thank you. I have not visited the tourist caves before.

Jameos del Agua is especially good if there's a concert/gig on - very atmospheric. I noticed in the Canaries music festival of 2022 there was a recital by the Gabrieli brass ensemble there. Had I been on the island I would have certainly gone.

There is music at JdA on Friday evenings, including a meal, from 630pm through till midnight. About £40 all in.

There might be cavers there but not heard of any British ones except those on hols there! This is a good link from a tourist site for Lanzarote caves with the best wild cave being Cueva Naturalistas but if you want big then Cueva de Los Verdes upstream of the tourist cave (as the lava flowed) Link here https://www.ilanzarote.com/caving/

There are UK cavers there currently. I am potentially there within a few weeks. The island routinely has UK cavers visiting. Back in the day...
