On the topo there is a deviation marked on the lower second pitch route. On a trip yesterday several of us looked for the bolt, but couldn’t find it. We spotted the deviation for the higher route (or at least we think we did, it would have created some catastrophic rope rub to use it for our route). Is it a case of this bolt (bolt 20) being quite hidden, or nonexistent? We found a natural we could just about use instead but it didn’t seem the most ideal.
Also, don’t swim in the mere, there’s a dead sheep in one corner, much to the dismay of two of our party, who swam half way across before being informed that the way on was the other way.
