hi

just asking incase any one has a gas meter that will do these things that i could borow to take to a grim (but clean) dig i am off there tomorrow but i am keen to get the dater any time in the future.

dont say try nick he has one that dose lots of gasses but not o2 or co2

idealy i would like to take one that you can change the alarm levels on as if not the battery runs flat in know time and it is a very annoying whilst it dose it.

Pretty sure Mark Wright has some, possibly, well maybe

Also - Try DCA, Bob D or Ralph, I think they have invested in some for monitoring purposes.

I'm pretty sure Nick had an O2 meter because we used it in Cuckoo a couple of years ago. Unless he has lost it since

DCA makes grants available for Peak District cave explorations. Not sure what the criteria are but maybe it's worth asking Jenny Potts if hire of a suitable meter is something which it would (part) fund? Or even purchase, so that everyone can benefit from using it (given that bad air seems to be a regular feature in Derbyshire caves)?

Contact Christine Wilson she has the DCA O2 meters. The more readings we get the better. 2010 was a good year (low CO2), in 2009 CO2 readings were very high.

Don't lend hrock your meter if you want the 2011 average to be low!

Or, beter still, lend it him and don't show anyone the readings.
