Moorfurlong - ladder is kaput

It's the mineralisation I like - some of the fluorite flattings in the bottom end are very reminiscent of Blue John, blue/mauve and yellow just not quite right. 'Zorro Chamber', kindly shown to me by Sam, has a great 'mask' profile of fluorite in the wall. Some photos here:

yer - it was all the pick marks in the clay, and the thumbprints in 'pointing' in the ginging.  They look so fresh, like they were done yesterday - despite probably being over a hundred years old.

I can see a young boy(on the left), wearing a hide skirt with a dagger hung from his belt, holding at arm's length a small child who's head is in the mouth of a giant lizard/dinosaur (on the right)...

Or stop dropping acid at work. Mind you, I may have been on acid when I took them though, so who's to know? Can't say I can see any of this. Funnily enough, this very issue has just cropped up with one of the book photos, and I've had to adamantly state that it's all in the mind of the viewer, and nothing to do with me!

Excellent photos Phil, thanks for sharing them, almost inspired me to go and have another look... almost. I definitely missed the Zorro mask, but was interested to see the feature in photo 4, not something I'd seen before.

No idea what cooleycr is on about (sorry!) but I can definitely see a pirate in photo 15
