Most excellent!

Indeed! The cave pearls picture is very good. The only ones I've seen in situ have been rather grubby looking and not very exciting - I can see the point of them now.

Everything on the site so far was taken with a Canon EOS 400D.  Some of the older pictures to come in due course were done with a 350D.

quite a few of them look , to me, to be stuck together.
they may not be, it may just be the back flashes giving foreground cavers a bit of a white border...

but looking at several of the shots, for example the 2nd of the two peak cavern shots, It looks like people have been, to be frank, carelessly added on in photoshop.

Slightly harsh for what's actually a very good set of photos if you ask me.

In my humble opinion - Well done on some good photos - keep up the good work.

Mainly the difference in lighting of the foreground person + the back lighting creating a white border around the figure, makes it look like some of my early efforts at photo composting.
Most of those pics are indeed very nice, but some, like this one, just look a bit odd.
Then we have the question of what's so interesting about someone climbing the Surprise View ladder in Peak, that the other two cavers are gazing in awe and wander at the guy on the ladder.

And don't get me started on photos at a jaunty angle. I blame Mr Shone for that one :-)

Re the novices in Peak cavern: they were almost-novices, and almost-novices, as you should know, are easy to impress  8)

Cave Troll, have you got a website, so that we can admire your oeuvre?

cheers, zz

The two cavers are probably gazing in awe and wonder at the sheer suprise that their ladder is still where they left it, and hadn't been de-rigged by a local university club 'by mistake'.

presumably the suprise view ladder is allowed to be there. a permit of sorts perhaps?!
