The Sherp ATV was on Top Gear last Sunday (4th March18).  Looks like it could even cope with UK weather conditions.

They've been around for a while - I know a couple of blokes in the US that run them for getting hunting parties out into the middle of nowhere. Very capable things, if a little weird.

So the yanks use cutting edge (ish) ruskie gear to take them out to shoot stuff, bit of a dilemma for the administration, not to mention the Florida AK47 factory.  Oh well.

Not really that cutting edge - They've been around for, oh, I dunno, a couple of decades maybe?

The shooty stuff is in the middle of swamps, hence these things rather than boats or redneck 4x4's.

AK's were first imported, then made in, I want to say, PA? Import restrictions or something. It's all from memory and may well be wrong.
