I'm starting to look into plans for a holiday / caving trip for next summer was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some info on the caving side of things in Italy?  I've searched t'internet but haven't been able to find anything of much help.

We went to Slovenia this year and the book by Ian Bishop was a godsend, although I realise it's unlikely there's anything quite so concise and all in english!

I have a friend on Lake Garda which would probably cover the holiday bit, then would be happy to move on from there for some caving.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you get some Via Ferratas done while your there too...

Not really heard of any caving in the dolomites - but there must be.

Via Ferrata is definitely on my list of things I want to do, along with some canyoning.

Ferrataring is great, but do buy a proper lanyard for it with a shockabsorber.

Very few caves in the Dolomites, but possbily the most visually appealing mountains in the world! Much better than the alps! Blikin great place

Plenty of old WW1 bunkers to explore on the summits with a headtorch, full of interesting stuff and relics, as well as the odd bomb...

Depends where your thinking of going, I stayed near Assisi for 2 weeks during the summer and there was plenty of caving in the Apennine Mountains around about as well  as great walking.

I did keep some info which I could dig out if your interested
