Looking at the replies on FB John Palmer has seen the post and is looking forward to finding out what they missed

Yep, John is in touch. The other two on that survey note were Steve Thomas and Jim Abbott. My guess is that it will be in a cave called Ru Mooc, a resurgence, which was left ongoing. There was a major army base at the sink end of the mountain which was out of bounds. Our Vietnamese guides were very nervous about us entering the resurgence and after just one trip we were prevented from returning.

I've reminded John about this today via a video call to Tasmania. It's an ever increasing small world
