Odin Mine Re-opening

Top tip - when you come out, take the path past the crushing circle to the stream, there's a small waterfall that's great for washing the worst off!

Black mud still there and still like glue. Just back from a trip to cut out the last of the heavily corroded 'temporary' screw anchors on the new traverse. Nothing left now but the new shiny stainless steel anchors DCA installed.
I didn't get to the handline on Chippendale as I had another cave job to do elsewhere, so if someone could cut that out and bin it when they go past we'd be grateful.

As requested, I've removed and binned the grotty old rope on Chippendale Rift.

Re the insurance queries. I have always thought that ther mere possession of insurance would, in the event of any claim against a landowner, cause the claim to be a non starter due to being insured denoting an experienced 'professional' person who should know what they are doing. Its possible that some legal opinion may well think in the same direction.
