Peak District Rigging Guide. CCPC

Last time I was there was with Ralph and Ross, not long after bolting it. Not sure but I think Ross put some in way out in the rift above the first big chamber and peeps said they couldn't find them again. Topo shows a rebelay near there but I think that may be a replacement set?
Good question. Honestly, I've no idea. It's been a long time since I have been there.

The individual pdf files for the various caves and mines should also now download in portrait orientation too for all the pages in each one. Topo(s), Key and Safety pages. Again, this should get round the occasional printing problems with pdfs with a mix of portrait and landscape oriented pages within a single file. All automated as the files are generated after an update.

Hopefully posting on the correct thread..........

Is the CCPC web site down or is it an issue at my end? (I've tried a few links, googled etc but all I get for my efforts is -

I'm afraid it is down at the moment. A problem at the server end. I can't FTP in to it either. I have emailed the person who arranges the hosting. Hopefully get it up again as soon as we can.
Apologies for the inconvenience. First time we have had a problem like this in years.
Archive.org have a snapshot from July, which should do, unless you need one of the recent updates.

The Crewe web site and the Rigging Guide are back again. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by their disappearance. The time of year, holidays and people being away meant some delays in resolving the problem.

A small update. The true second pitch in P8, where you follow the stream, rather than traverse over the top, now has a longer rope recommended. Not many people rig this. Most traverse above stream level from the first pitch and either rig the Iron Ladder pitch, or carry on at high level to Mud Hall.
