I only found this site recently, having just got access to the web etc.. At first sight it would apppear that nothing much is happening on this site or am I looking in the wrong place? Are these things just flashes in the pan and then game over?

Or perhaps, like me, you prefer actually going caving rather than nerding.

Actually, I guess it is rather amusing in an ironic way. I've always believed that hypocrisy is part of the human condition (or, at the very least, it is part of my human condition). Women call it changing their mind. I rather like nerding AND caving now.

In the UK, by the time children are teenagers, they are clocking up an average of 7.5hrs of TV watching per day*, i.e. 114 days per year.

By comparison, I think 32 days** on this forum since I joined just over FOUR YEARS ago is entirely OK. I don't own a TV.

Your point being?....

Just checked mine and apparently I have spent over 9 days on here. Most of this is being logged in at work whilst I am off doing other things (possibly even working) and probably not even at my desk. Or logged in at home whilst off doing other things, probably with the radio playing through the computer.

I'm sure I haven't actually spent 9 days reading this stuff........

Aye, the total logged time is very misleading. If you are working on your computer but just dip in once in a while to see what's being posted, you could find long periods when you are logged as active as against only several seconds when you are actually looking at it.

Seems a rather pointless piece of data to me as it is so outrageously misleading and wrong.
