Quantocks - free dig offer !

I have a dig up for grabs on the Quantocks . It's been dug on and off for nearly 40 years and consists of a draughting tube dropping into an excavated chamber with passage off. The digging is ridiculously easy and the plan in recent years has been to lower the breccia floor of the chamber until the rest of the system appears. In only  a few trips the short drop into the chamber now has a fixed ladder so that where one was once stooping you are now standing in a 2 metre high chamber. Two people can dig there and achieve results. For location apply to me - mrodoc.

Hello Doc, you may remember you gave me a picture of myself in Double Trouble Series at the Hidden Earth Confernce, that is if the beer was not flowing to quickly. It is now framed and looking very fine on my living room wall. This original post was a long time ago, but as I live just up the road from you I would also be interested to help if not too late.

This dig has been worked on in 2009 but the land now has a new owner who is considering its future. If you do know of its whereabouts please do not visit. I have been in touch with the owner and mrodoc about it.
