Thinking of Hanging Up Your Fins? Never Say, "Never Again."

The film of Geoff Yeadon's return to cave diving 26 years after he last donned on his fins is now within a cat's whisker of being finished, and I have to admit I am quite pleased with the result. It's very different to anything I've done before.

Putting it together has been a daunting task. During the weekend 8 photographers and videographers took a total of 721 photos or video clips, amounting to 251GB of files, all of which had to be sorted and sifted.

There is just one short interview to be recorded and then it's complete. I'm hoping to premiere it to members of Dudley Caving Club at our next meeting.

Here's a few stills from the film.

The film of Geoff Yeadon's return to cave diving is, I'm afraid, still not quite ready for release. 😢

People keep finding things that need correcting/changing/re-doing/tidying/correcting/... 😫

Meanwhile here are a few more stills from the film. 🙂

PPS Change of plan. The private listing thing hasn't worked so it's now unlisted. I've replied to everyone who has asked to see it with a link to the film.

It's a thumbs up from me. Some great pieces of footage there and informative graphics... and he lived to tell the tale. A job very well done.

Hi Keith. Is it possible to send me the link? (deleted e-mail address, Pegasus)
Really looking forward to it!
Many thanks, Pete

Fantastic film, excellent job Caver Keith, and superbly narrated and illustrated. It's easy to forget that it's not been produced by a professional production team. I really enjoyed hearing the story of exploration in the dale, and seeing a bit of what goes on behind the scenes of cave diving trips like this one. Huge respect to Geoff for braving those sumps once again. "It's a bit of an acquired taste, cave diving..." 😆
