Training workshops for spring/summer 2024
We are pleased to announce our spring/summer training workshop schedule for 2024, including:
- 16th March: New to SRT rigging / rigging refresher (1 day indoors)
- 17th March: SRT rescue foundation / introduction (1 day indoors)
- 13th April: SRT underground refresher (1 day underground)
- 20th April: New to SRT / skills refresher (2 days, indoors and underground)
- 27th April: Skills for horizontal cave leaders (1 day underground)
- 28th April: SRT advanced rescue underground (1 day, only two spaces!)
- 4th May: SRT intermediate / refresher (2 days, indoors and underground)
- 11th May: SRT underground refresher (1 day underground)
- 12th May: Pull-through caving skills (1 day underground)
- 1st June: New to SRT / skills refresher (2 days, indoors and underground)
- 8th June: SRT rigging refresher (1 day underground)
- 9th June: SRT advanced rescue underground (1 day, only two spaces!)
- 22nd June: SRT underground refresher (1 day underground)
- 23rd June: Pull-through caving skills (1 day underground)
- 13th July: SRT intermediate / refresher (2 days, indoors and underground)
- 20th July: SRT rescue foundation / introduction (1 day indoors)
- 21st July: New to SRT rigging / refresher (1 day indoors)
- 10th August: SRT underground refresher at Gaping Gill (1 day underground)
A new theme for this season is our 2:1 rescue workshops on 28th April and 9th June, each giving two attendees advanced rescue training underground with a professional instructor. For anyone who is SRT competent and who has already undertaken and is comfortable with indoor rescue training (e.g. through one of our other workshops), this session provides the perfect follow-on to put knowledge into practice and further your understanding.
