Kendal Mountain Festival director Clive Allen showed me this video he took on Friday. It shows a standing ovation for the film, The Rescue, a documentary on the well known, successful rescue of the football team from a flooded cave in Thailand. According to Clive, this is only the second ever standing ovation any film or presentation has received at the festival. Much deserved I say.
