Swildon's Mud Sump now open

Following the continued hard work of John Cooper and his bailing parties, the Mud Sump in Swildon's is now open allowing for completion of the Short Round Trip.

If you are heading in soon, please be allow yourself time to bail the Troubles and be aware of the potential for poor air quality.

Team effort. For example yesterday's team included members from Bristol Exploration Club, Chelsea Spelaeological Society, Shepton Mallet Caving Club and Wessex Cave Club. When we came out through St Paul's there was a good inwards draught so I don't expect there to be any problems with the air quality.
