H Huge Well-known member Aug 26, 2024 #5 There were a couple of TV film documentaries (Nat Geo?) released about 15(?) years ago. I think I found the first one on YouTube but only in French. Here's a link to the second one Naica 2 - Beyond the Crystal Cave in English. And another adventure type program Angry Planet Skip to about 7mins to see the start of the journey underground in the mine and then the cave.

And the cave is young by geological standards as it has formed in what are is essentially limestone formed by sand dunes from the Pleistocene.
