Were fairly confident we now hold the UK record for the longest single haul in a UK rescue.
We would just like to add our heartfelt thanks firstly to Tony Seddon of Starless River for hanging around on a snowy, windy, wet, cold moor helping out with logistics and offering us access to the mobile shop in case we were in need and secondly to the cavers companions on the surface for helping out with initial surface logistics while team members were en-route and later in the night (or was it morning?) returning to the shaft top with Biscuits
