The Miners Arms in Eyam is usually good for a few late beers (likes you to get in before 11pm though)

John Beck and Doug Nash are in every night after 10pm, and are a wealth of caving knowledge between them.

Quite a few other local cavers drop in from time to time.

It would be good to actually get a regular midweek, caver's meeting night going again.

Good news, hopefully. The pub has been bought by the Bradley's from the farm at the top of Winnats Pass. They've already started work on it and the word is it will carry on as a village pub and not turn into a posh restaurant.

No way Enterprise would sell the buildings - one of the few that makes them money I imagine.
Still a large part of how good a pub is is down to the management so can't breathe easy yet!

I presume you meant the tenancy but thought best to check.

Well that's no great loss. The couple who are there at the moment are pretty useless.

Bring back Suzy say I......

I agree... don't think any of the regulars and locals are surprised they lasted little more than a year......

They were always very good to us! Doing us food very late at a reasonable price if we rang ahead.

Unless we're not talking about the wanted here?

Sorry for the confusion ah147 - this post started talking about the Wanted but has moved on to talking about the Red Lion in Litton which is the pub the most recent posts are about.......
