Wanted Inn~Sparrowpit-Closing down

Turns out I was slightly misled about the Wanted Inn. They are unlikely to open at the end of this month as they don't get the keys until tomorrow. Apparently Robinson's Brewery stripped everything out so it's going to need some refitting. I guess this may take a while depending on how good a job they want to do. I imagine they'd want to be open by Christmas though so fingers crossed.

Is it re-opening as a free house then? Excellent news if it is. No ridiculous ties with rent and beer to worry about. Probably get decent beer at a sensible price and they'll be able to compete in a difficult market.

It's not open yet but, for the last two days, there have been lights on and vans in the car park. I  guess they'll be trying to open for Christmas.
