Napoli Underground often receives mail and inquiries wanting to know how to find places of interest to visit that have to do with the famous Naples underground.
Since we are getting more and more of these requests as our web site becomes better known, we have decided to put together a directory of interesting places to visit both in Naples and the immediate surrounding area.
The list is rather long and pretty complete and should have something for just about everyone. Our suggestions range from underground guided tours for tourists provided by local speleological groups to sites with historic, cultural and naturalist interest, but all are connected to the story of the Naples ‘sottosuolo' or underground.
In the directory of places, which is still a work in progress, you will find first an individual listing with an address or general location. Then by clicking on those sites, which are underlined, you will be directed to that organization's web site for more complete information which, however, will generally be in Italian. We have also included ‘clickable' links to photographs beneath the listings of several entries which you will find interesting.
So, click here to " TAKE THE TOUR†!
