Donations have been successful and the next way to raise a bit of cash (obviously I'm trying to become a .com billionaire here) is to make some ukcaving t-shirts/beanies or something like that.

I'd buy a t-shirt, SWMBO is much less likely to complain about me buying clothes......

Either

a) I'm hopeless.
b) He's lying.
c) He has made sure search engines can't find it.

And good luck to him, though he clearly isn't going to get much business from cyber passers-by.

Peter, for a long time I've believed (rightly or wrongly) that potential clients for outdoor pursuits providers are unlikely to come via specialist interest group forums (such as this) where the degree of knowledge possessed by subscribers is, by default, sufficiently high that they already know how to organise getting a trip. Therefore, by logical extension, there's nowt to be gained by touting for trade on such a fine forum as this - and, more to the point, I'm only doing work to earn a living, not get rich! (as if that were even possible!  :-\).

I have no axe to grind with Dave (although I've been trying hard to think who he is... but I meet a lot of people to do with caving in the course of a year and the name on its own isn't enough to assist!  ). The only Dave I know who has an idiosyncratic turn of phrase and who knows me and Andy S is Dave M (with the deep hole!); in which case all I can say is that he's a really nice, but serious, chap who doesn't deserve to be flamed even though he is asking in depth questions which might at first glance appear to be slightly OTT.

I only just logged on today to discover were having a big fight and picking on the new-boy whilst C'n'C is ousted as cavings most nasty man ever who incidentally likes pink a bit too much, and that bubba is only in it for the billions and that that man burgess has a strangley subliminal message depicting that he in fact has five breasts. I think. Anyway, come on, let me at least throw a mis-aimed punch as usual before getting rodgered and having to nurse my own pint through a straw in the corner.
