Bit short of inspiration (a.k.a. guidebooks!) here, but have a go at this one which I hope is the correct name & spelling!

"Got that, Captain! Apparently, Wes knits!"  (5,4,4,4)

Could it be Boundary Pot by any chance. Bound = leap, ary = no point (i.e. E) in year and no point (i.e. S) = Post.

Way hay!

Have a go at this one then...

"Morse and Lewis arrange meeting with Professor of Theology to begin with."  (14,3)

Yeah, a very satisfying one! It's surprisingly hard to think of good clues isn't it...  :-\ how about:

"Irrational born before perennial plant" (8,3)

I hope I've not stagnated it with too difficult a clue?!

To give you a hint a slight play on the clue would be: Greek irrational was born "perennial plant" (8,3)

Not washfold; that's about 200 miles too far North...

Well I'm stuck! I'm sort of supposing that the "Greek irrational" is PI and "born" is B - but can't think of any cave name starting thus - though Mendip (for I am assuming that's the area) ain't that familiar!  :doubt:
