We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of construction work in your area.
On occasions we are required to carry out work which is outside the normal working period. These occasions allow us to work safely and to minimise disruption to the travelling public.

We have been in consultation with Monmouth County Council to enable us to prepare a drainage crossing for a new sewer diversion close to the Gilwern Junction. We have programmed the work to be undertaken over three nights between the [merde, that is today]  5th and 7th July,  20:30hrs until 06.00hrs and during the period no access will be available for traffic seeking to enter Gilwern via the junction. The work does not prevent traffic using the eastbound carriageway of the A465.

There could be some noise associated with the night works that will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Access into Gilwern for the three nights will be via Glanbaiden roundabout.
