• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Cleanup in P8

Over the next few weeks visitors to P8 may notice a lot of old digging crap and a fair few green dig trays in strategic points in P8, this is part of a project SUSS is doing to remove all of Keith "Ben" Bentham's old broken digging kit out of his dig.

If all goes to plan it will only occupy Mud Chamber and the small chamber just in the entrance, but there is a large volume of stuff to remove so it will take a few trips.

I'm just making this post to let people know in case they become concerned about the sudden appearance of crap in P8! I can assure you it is only there temporarily and it's on its way out, not in!

Here is a full thread of info including the planned extraction process: https://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=22527.0

The removal has approval from the DCA, and we're grateful for their assistance in it!
