It does regularly at random times in the evening (when it runs out of customers)

Yes. It has permanently closed.

I suspect that it will be demolished and something a bit less shabby will replace it, however there is nothing at all in planning at the moment, so I may be wrong.
It was previously granted planning permission extension and change of use to a hotel, but that was several years ago, so no telling who's planning what now...
