Cool, could be handy as we haven't sorted accommodation yet

While we're on the area, can anybody recommend any trips? I've got a few ideas but it'd be nice to hear some suggestions...

As far as the Vernau system is concerned, how do you go about applying for permits - and how far in advance do you have to apply for them?  It would be nice to have a pokey around there whilst in the area.

Also, who would I have to contact to get access to 'La Borne aux Cassots'?  I believe there's a combination lock?

Cheers!

Lots of good trips most involving SRT the best source for sites are the books covering the area.

Inventaire spéléologique du Doubs - tome 4
pelaologisches Inventar des Doubs - tome 2
Inventaire spéléologique du Doubs - tome 3 partie Centre

The cavers cafe in Nans-sous-Ste.Anne sales them (and the two Jura books).

Access for the Vernau system permit is via the town hall.

At present it is a bit wet.

Andrew.
