LCMLA assessment
« on: June 09, 2004, 03:22:11 pm »
hi all,

I'm hoping to do the LCMLA level 1 assessment in Aug/Sept. The cost is either £70ish each for 2 people being assessed together or £125 for one person on their own, so I'm looking for a second bod to keep the cost down a bit. Anyone interested?

Good luck in your quest.

Just a thought - compare the cost of your LCMLA award (on completion - even if you DO end up having to pay the higher, "I'm on my own", rate) with a worthless piece of paper called a degree. I think you'll find that even if you have to pay £125/day for your assessment(s) it'll pay back far more than you've had to shell out to get it!

Hi Rachel

Bad news is that although you can share the cost of your Personal Skills Day with someone else, you will have to shell out the full amount for an assesor for the group day. Sorry! However you also need to provide a group for the group day, so if you play your cards right you could actualy get paid for being assessed.  :P

Hope you find it all worthwhile though.

Yeah, I know just what you mean. Dusty BSc and MSc sat in the cupboard, bank manager sat on the doorstep....

Guess that's what I get for insisting on living in Ingleton instead of one of the centres of pollution. :D
