Don't be so confident about Lancaster Hole being a safe all weather entrance. You'd be surprised how wet the entrance pitch gets and where water backing up from the master cave actually can reach.

It was Pegleg Pot that the cavers were trapped in and the water was being diverted down Oxford Pot (before it was blocked).
