I live just a few miles away from Mossdale caverns, but haven't got round to going in there quite yet, was wondering if anyone out there as visited the system recently?.

Forigve me for asking but are you suggesting that people shouldn't descend caves that are very flood liable? But these things do happen. so why increase the risk going into any cave that is known to flood rapidly.
There's hundreds of caves in the Dales of all shapes and sizes, many of them with very easy and open access - don't let this thread put you off!By the way, I don't know the ins & outs of any cave in the Dales yet but I think I'm starting to get the impression that I shouldn't bother
