    A massive rock fall has blocked the Springswood branch of the Skipton canal . The cliff  that Skipton Castle is built on has collapsed in a big way ,threatening the stability of the Castle !

    The rather old shuttering in Clapham Bottoms Pot  is in a state of collapse.A near do was had by a party trying to descend.A hasty retreat was made to avoid entombment.Please stay clear untill an assesment is made of the logistics of repair.More work!
