I wrote a blog post about my new technique for capturing a rappel if anyone is curious. This isn't a photo of the pit, it is a photo of the rappel. I understand people use similar techniques to light a pit, but that is not the focal point of this technique, the rappeller is. All of course with minimal kit as is my mantra =)
