Not sure if this the right place to ask, but here goes.
I'm the kit sec for my university adventure and expo club and we cave but have on SRT kit. I really want to expand our clubs caving gear, but really need funding to be able to afford anything. Does anybody know where we could go to apply for funding?

There are a few ways to go about this. I don't know which University/Union you're a part of but the first port of call would be a detailed request from a safety budget/extraordinary grant.

There are various solutions to a lack of kit but I have a suspicion that isn't the whole story - it's probably worth having a long discussion with the relevant people.

Although it's not the cheapest way to do it, we used to have gear kits,  bobbin, chest ascender and hand jammer  Two reasons was so ot was cheaper as people bought the webbing/ rope bits.
and then they had correctly lengthened.

I meant that they had the right length footloop, cowstails etc and the club can focus on buying the more expensive bits,
