Sunset hole info

I’ve never been in there in wet conditions, but I know the first few pitches are free climbable but rigged to keep you out of the water. What I’d like to know is what’s the response time when it rains, and moderately wet conditions, is it “sporting” or is it still a full on soaking if you rig it?

One of our members was drowned in '82 when the area was hit by a summer thunderstorm. The rainfall was exceptional and caused the 80ft pitch to fill up. The passage to the pitch was impassable. Given the soaking that the Dales has had in recent days, Sunset should be very sporting and might become impassable if heavy rain falls.

Thanks. Weathers looking a bit dryer next week. I have used it as an SRT training venue in the past but obviously the weather this week is giving me food for thought!
