I made a few (too early) comments(personal opinions) on the NSS board...so I'll hold off a bit here too.
I DID get a quick email from my friend....really short....
Needless to say...sounds like it was.....how to say this without using the H-less word.....so difficult that...........
What scared (scares) me most about the whole thing....in the "what if it was me that was stuck"...was that Mr. Jones died so "quickly". I live and cave in a place that "rescuers" are 12-48 hours away. And there are MUCH more difficult caving areas here in Montana.(Days for rescue, if at all) Mr. Jones had rescue personnel there very quickly, because of the cave's proximity to Salt Lake City.
Again...Thanks....and I'm waiting for the official report and the following caver's reports too.

I DON'T agree with permanently closing the cave.....so many reasons..........
