Arson Shaft

Has anyone done the Magic Roundabout trip recently? Just wondering about the condition of the rope on the Arson Shaft, or when it was last replaced?
Any info good!
Cheers,

No mention that the rope is in crap condition, so I assume its okay.

We replaced the rope in 2015 when we re-bolted it with P-hangers. It's currently in good condition, although the first rebelay going up is a little tight owing to shrinkage.

We did it a while ago. The ledge at the bottom of the pull through pitch had a fixed rope to do the last 8 foot or whatever it is but it was cored in many places. It might be better to continue the pull through pitch beyond the ledge (it was a while ago so I could be misremembering).

That's what is implied in my link. "A couple of 25 m ropes suffice. The pitch is not vertical and has a ledge near the bottom, so be prepared for the mud collected by your caving suit in the crawls to be washed off on the way down."

We did think of removing the knackered rope, but it leads up to the alternative route to Brass Monkey Passage, and so left it where it was.
