Bakers Pit broken into again....

The last time I went down Baker's Pit, about 20 years ago.  I did not need a key.  Just a hammer and a six inch nail.  I tapped out the rod holding the hinge together and opened the lid.  Can this still be done today?

CROW, and cave access in general, are important subjects that merit serious discussion, and indeed, landowners and others may well read this forum.
