What do we feel about that then folks?

Very common this and the more successful your website the more likely it is to happen. For the sake of ?15 or whatever the .co.uk costs I'd always buy that as well and redirect to your own site. Possibly too late now though

This has been done as a deliberate act of sabotage - to cause confusion and divert traffic from our site.

Or maybe, for those of us who aren't living on planet paranoia, it's a joke! If it was a Deliberate Act Of Sabotage, I can think of much more damaging pages that could be linked to than a Jack Sparrow fan site. Also, it's hardly diverting traffic from your site. If you wanted caveclimb.co.uk to point to your site, you could have registered it yourself!

You could always cash in on it and have a "theme weekend" in the shop - all dressed up as pirates! Not implying that anyone involved has ever pirated a cave, of course.

Have to admit I am with Rich on this one.  I thought it was really funny and if you were so bothered Andy maybe you should have bought the domain yourself.  To me it looks like it has obviously been done with humorous rather than malicious intent.

It is a bizarre coincidence that caveclimb.co.uk should go to a Captain Jack Sparrow appreciation site (or is it?).  I was not aware of this until today.  This domain was registered by one 'Albert Bat' on the 18th October.  It's a bloody odd name for a Jack Sparrow site.  Is someone trying to wind me up?

What do we feel about that then folks?

 I think its Hilarious

I'm sure its simply a joke - at least it doesnt go to some dodgy site. However if it's malicious then whoever did it should be ashamed of themselves.

I didn't know there was a caving gear shop on Mendip, so well done for bringing Cap'n Sparrow's business to my attention.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
