Caving in Japan

I have to go to Japan for 6 months and am aware of a few caving areas but am struggling to find information. I'll be in Nagoya and have seen there are a couple of caving areas about an hours drive away. Has anyone caved in Japan or know of any information or books that are out there? I've heard there is not much in English.

Have you tried the Speleological Society of Japan (http://www.speleology.jp/index-e.html) ?

Wasn't there an article by Martyn Farr about cave diving in Japan in a Descent a few years back? Martyn writes well and he's likely to have included a useful overview of Japan's caving regions in that article.

The Descent website has a pretty good search facility, to help locate it.
