As part of the kit for the underground rescue phones, some +2 or +3 cheap reading glasses had been included, to help the, ahem, "more experienced" team members read the instructions. Makes sense as few of us intend to read a book undergound and can see well enough for ordinary caving without specs

I know cavers like to be one with the bats. But I didn't think they tried the blind bit too .
