And the same to all...

Feature of place that may not be there is both ways after those people (the French) return paintings (3, 7, 4)

Enjoy :)

The best I can come up with is "The Mistral Hole", but I'm struggling with the "both ways" part of the clue, so I could be wrong.

You could be ... and are :)

It might help to tell you that in
Feature of place that may not be there is both ways after those people (the French) return paintings

the bit in italics is a general clue to where it is, and the rest is the actual cryptic bit

Well, rm128 PM'd me with the correct answer the other day, but sportingly left it for others to have a shot.

None having done so, the answer is....
THE MISSILE SILO, which is in Illusion Pot (place that may not be there), with
IS SI (is both ways) after THEM (those people) LE (the French) and OILS (paintings, returned)

Well done, RM, take it away...  (y)

OK then. I don't think this should be too hard:

The benediction, not applying to Singapore, in this gospel is suitable only for the finest of kitchens.  (6, 4)

Got lucky...

Try this then:

Mangle guano, then Anne loses all her Es in this famous far-away place. (4,5,4,3)

That's the one, Andy !

I'm just reading Rick Stanton's book (a Christmas present from my daughter) so it was on my mind :)

Over to you...
