Dennis Kemp 1923-1990

I was surprised that Dennis has not had a mention, probably because he died in a climbing accident in Australia and was buried there.  My own recognition of Dennis is digging with him in Swildon's 4 in the 1970s.

There is a fine 4 page obituary with 2 photos in the latest Westminster:

Hi
I note it is the day of your AGM Hope you have time to answer this. I knew Dennis Kemp from the early 70s. My connection with him is in his educational interests. Almost directly as a result of his encouragement to me I became a BBC education producer. Now in retirement I am recollecting my memories of him and what I think as his unsung pioneering views that I applied to change geography broadcasting for children. I'd like to make contact with others who knew him. Unfortunately I was/am hopeless at climbing or caving but it is his work in schools that is my focus. You can see the context of my academic credentials at my website MHMVR. Please do make contact
