• Tony is on holiday until Saturday 20th

This means that the Travelling Shop will be out of action for a week and any inquiries sent to him won't be picked up until he's back.

In the meantime the rest of the Starless River team will be hard at work ensuring online orders are posted out to you all. Thanks everyone.

  • Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Flood Prone U.K.

Surely the real concern is to prevent floods preventing access to caves; what is being done to sort that out?

residents want a hold on new house building on flood planes
government still think it's great though  :-\

They will build on flood planes as long as idiots are prepared to buy the houses.....

If you are buying a house, check the EA maps to see if it floods.

If it does flood....err......then don't buy it. If you DO buy it and it floods, then don't squeel like a stuck pig about it.

If people wont buy them, they will stop building them.

There must be loads of old mines running out under the sea in Cornwall and other places.

Couldn't the Government build some of their new homes down there?

Politicians could live down in the lower levels...
